our venue
AODA Raeford soft-launched in November 2022 as a setup/teardown studio inside Hillcrest Baptist Church, Fellowship Hall. We are so grateful to the Hillcrest Church community for their support! The next year we moved into a permanent location, located on Main Street in the heart of downtown Raeford (2nd floor above Raeford Hardware Store).
A few things to note about our venue:
Please note that we are on the 2nd floor above Raeford Hardware Store. You can’t see us from the road, but you’ll see our studio name on the glass door to the left of the store; walk up the stairs, go straight down the long hallway and we’re the last door on the left. The building does not currently have an elevator, so you will need to be able walk up a flight of stairs to drop off and pick up your students. Students must be dropped off and picked up at the dance studio room (we do not let them walk down the stairs by themselves).

Like any downtown area, public parking spaces will be available. You may need to park down the road or on a side street depending on how busy it is. You can also park behind Raeford Hardware or down by the library and courthouse, etc.
There are three individual restrooms down the hall (to your left as you come up the stairs). If you have a student ages 2-10, please take your child to the bathroom before class! Otherwise we have to pause teaching and take them to the restroom mid-class. For students ages 11+, we use the buddy system.
You may leave property during your child’s class, or we will have some chairs in the hallway if you would like to stay on property — if you do so, you must keep noise at a respectful level and clean up after yourself.
